Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose
To oversee and manage the full warehouse function, ensuring efficient operations, accurate inventory control, adherence to health and safety standards, and effective team leadership within a high-pressure hydraulic components environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff to ensure productivity and performance standards
- Implement and maintain operational processes, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to meet operational demands
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency and workflow
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in:
- Hydraulic hose
- Hydraulic fittings and components
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and related products
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations and staff

- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Process-driven with attention to detail
- Ability to implement and enforce procedures
Preferred / Advantageous
- Technical qualification in Hydraulics
- Advanced understanding of hydraulic systems and components
- Experience working with Sage Evolution (An Advantage)
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety standards
