Job Opportunity: Vehicle Strip and Fitter
Location: Kingsnorth
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 06:30am to 16:30pm
Salary: £17.73 per hour (up to £43,913.00 per annum)
Our client is a prominent leader in the field of automotive logistics and remarketing solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Strip Fitter to join our client’s team. Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring our vehicles are finished to the highest standard for our customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Bodyshop Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Stripping and fitting panels
- Carrying out repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition in line with approved methods
- Removing parts and panels off a range of vehicles
- Ensuring that all nuts, bolts, screws and any other fixings are labelled and correctly stored ready for when the stripped parts and panels are needed to be put back on to the vehicle.
- Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required
- Training bodyshop trainee staff
Skills Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
- You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
Qualification and Experience
- Previous experience within the same role.
- Own tools required
- Full UK/EU Driving Licence
