Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Consultant to join their team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through outbound and inbound lead generation, lead management, and closing high-value deals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales and a passion for building lasting client relationships.
This is a full-time, on-premises role based at our offices in Sandton, Johannesburg, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Management:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound efforts (cold calls, emails, networking, etc.).
- Qualify and nurture inbound leads from marketing efforts.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking activities and opportunities through CRM tools.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Deal Closing:
- Present, negotiate, and close deals effectively, ensuring a seamless transition to the delivery team.
Reporting & Collaboration:
- Provide regular sales performance updates to the leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales in custom software development.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of outbound and inbound sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
