Job Purpose

To oversee and optimise the full logistics and supply chain function, ensuring efficient procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations (inbound & outbound)
  • Oversee warehouse operations, stock control, and distribution
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency
  • Manage supplier and transport vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with South African transport, safety, and labour legislation
  • Monitor KPIs (delivery times, costs, stock accuracy)
  • Lead and manage logistics staff and drivers
  • Implement systems and process improvements

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5–8 years’ experience in logistics/supply chain (management level)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory systems (ERP/WMS)
  • Experience managing teams
  • Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
