Job Specification – Internal Sales Representatives

About the Role
We are seeking results-driven Internal Sales Representatives to join our client’s sales team. These positions require strong selling ability, persistence, and a proven ability to close sales over the phone. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving sales growth through existing and lapsed customers while building strong, lasting relationships to encourage repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Regain and re-engage lost customers identified through reports and data analysis.
- Proactively contact existing customers and upsell additional products from our range using variance reports
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and future engagement.
- Participate in regular product training to maintain up-to-date knowledge and identify customer opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress on company systems.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent telephonic communication skills with a professional and persuasive manner.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated in a results-driven environment.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office and Pastel.
- Strong relationship-building skills and customer service orientation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in internal sales or telesales, preferably in a product-driven environment.
- Target-driven and resilient, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Energetic, motivated, and eager to contribute to team success.
