Job Opportunity: Despatch Road Tester
Location: Thurleigh
Employment Type: Temporary
Working Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 07:30-17:00
Salary: £16.80 p/h
Our client is a prominent leader in the field of automotive logistics and remarketing solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stores Operative to be a part of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake on the road vehicle evaluation by road testing the car.
- Note any obvious issues with the vehicle that are determined by driving the car only e.g., noises, rattles, misfiring, pulling to one side etc.
- Test the functionality of all vehicle systems that are available to the driver e.g., sat Nav, radio, electric windows, air conditioning etc.
- Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed. Tablet training and vehicle flow process training will be provided.
Skill Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ideally suited to Level 2 Technicians, PDI Technicians and professional drivers.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential); the more driving experience you have the better.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to drive a full range of cars from all manufacturers in a safe and legal manner.
