We are a resource partner for the UK’s largest Parking Operators, and we are seeking a Car Park Attendant to support operations at Gatwick Airport.

As a successful candidate you will be assisting travellers as they arrive to the Airport, giving them a positive experience from the outset as they embark on their journey.

  • Driving and parking customers vehicles in a safe, careful, and responsible manner.
  • To ensure the efficient operation of the car parking facilities and provides a level of service which gives complete customer satisfaction.
  • Adhering with all Gatwick Airport directives and regulations
  • To be fully competent in reporting and escalation processes including the reporting of unattended and suspicious items.
  • Compliant with all Health & Safety Legislations
  • Ability to follow instructions from management and act professionally always.
  • Good team player with positive attitude and a commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work as a team and as an individual.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure that vehicles are delivered and returned promptly.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a UK Driving License for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Cannot have any of the following driving convictions on your Licence IN10, DR10 or DD10
  • Valid Passport or Full Birth certificate
  • Proof of Address and National Insurance Number
  • No Previous unspent or disqualifying Criminal Convictions
  • Driving Assessment and Compulsory Induction Training must be completed and will be carried out by our client before commencement of the role.
  • Must be 23 years old or older.

Contract Details:

  • Ongoing Contract
  • Flexible Contract Type: Part Time / Full Time / On-going rolling contract.
  • Flexibility on hours to suit your personal circumstances and commitments (Flexible Shift Patterns: 4 on 4 off, 5 on 2 off, 6 on 3 off)
  • Shift Hours: 8 – 12 hours a day with various shift options available.
  • Start and finish times will vary according to travel demands so must be flexible.

Additional Benefits:

  • Paid Lunch Breaks
  • Retention Bonus – Weekday and Weekend Staff – £500 for staff starting between 1st April – 31st May and work until 31st Oct 2024.
  • Retention Bonus – Weekday and Weekend Staff – £100 per month pro-rata for all staff starting after May 2024 and work until 31st Oct 2024
  • Fully accrued bonus amount payable end of Nov 2024. This benefit is subject to meeting terms & conditions of the contract, which will be discussed at the interview stage.
  • All operatives are entitled for holiday pay. However, they accrue holiday. For every hour worked it is 12.07% holiday pay.

Car Park is open 24/7. Available shifts Monday- Sunday days and nights.

Day shift:

Hours to start: 4/5/6am.

8,10 or 12h shift.


Hours to start: 6pm, 8pm, 10pm.

Night shift ends at 6am

There are no minimum shifts, max is 60h a week.
